The Horro-Fi Darkives

For a period of years, I coordinated and produced events including a couple of film festivals, red carpet promos, book signings, premieres, and mixers. My team and I had a brainstorming session about naming the events which blended horror and sci-fi. We spent over an hour and tossed around dozens of possible names. In the end, we circled back to the beginning where I said, “How about Horro-Fi?” It stuck.

Years later, fans continue to reach out and ask me when we will “do it again.” While I don’t currently have any plans to revive the fest, I wanted to establish a place to honor the past filmmakers and special guests who played along with us.
