Jamie Kristen led the cast in an episode of Cryptid Hunters as the imaginary Cryptozoologist Carolyn Cummings. Over the years, she worked on TV and film productions, including State of Desolation, Hell’s Kitchen, Guys With Kids, and Untold Stories of the ER. She had the privilege of working under the direction of Gabriel Bologna in a film written by Donn Swaby, Buds for Life (2004), about four young guys and a pizza place. Before that, she starred in a short film about letting go, titled Clean Break (2007) written and directed by award winning filmmaker, Nathaniel Atcheson.
A character actress with a broad range, Jamie has performed in such plays such as The Music Man, Annie, The Sound of Music, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Jamie filmed a musical created for Broadway, Eclipse of the Heart, written by and starring Henry Farnam, in which she co-starred opposite Kyle Lowder as “Beth.”
Jamie has directed several short films and plays, several of which she also wrote and produced. She has had her hand in many aspects of the film industry including wardrobe, properties, production, design, writing, and promotion. In 2009, Jamie co-founded and directed the Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival which she produced successfully for four seasons, before retiring to focus on her family.

From films to major events, Jamie has produced and directed multiple projects.
Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival:
What started as a simple conversation over breakfast at Dupars (Studio City), became a popular indie horror film festival. According to one celebrity special guest, he touted it as “…a great fest, bar none…I adored sitting with the young filmmakers. I had never done enough of that in previous fests.”
